Riverbank Grill in Marikina (of metro Manila), Philippines

Once upon a time, I was flying from the USA to the Philippines when the woman sitting next to me said, "You've been to the Philippines before, haven't you?"  I said, "Yes, how did you know?"  "I see that you're eating with the spoon in your right hand."

Everywhere I've gone in the Philippines, I've seen people use a spoon as their main eating tool.  They used the fork in their left hand either to steady the food (a piece of chicken, pork, etc) or to help get the food onto the spoon.

It's been many years since I've eaten at the Riverbank Grill in Marikina City in the Philippines.  Still, I remember the food being hot off the stove and delicious!
